New York-based artist and producer Will Sass has teamed up with award-winning Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt. ‘Fairweather Friends’ is a testament to his talent as a songwriter and producer - it’s filled with huge hooks and emotional weight, with the empowering chorus feeling almost cathartic in its power, courtesy of Nesbitt’s clean, pitch-perfect voice. He is able to blend genres seamlessly, with this cut in particular not knowing whether to sit in the world of pop or house. “Everyone has had this experience at some point in their lives where they decide it’s time to cut ties with fake friends,” he explains, on the track’s lyrics.
